We are so excited you decided to check us out. Let us tell you a little bit about our studio.

We are located in the heart of downtown at 185 Main St. surrounded by awesome local businesses and restaurants right outside our doors.

Our studio is home to over 15 different yoga instructors and a variety of yoga classes and styles to appeal to the beginner all the way to the seasoned yogis. Classes run from 5:30 am- 8:00 pm and we are open 7 days a week.

We have full bathrooms and showers for both men and women so you can easily head to work or out on the town straight from our studio. We have mats, towels, blocks, and straps available for rent or purchase so have no fear if you don’t have all your yoga gear.

Our classes range from no heat to hot and the temperatures are explained along with our class descriptions. You will find a welcoming smile the moment you walk through our door, an incredible community of yogis to practice alongside you, and a very cozy yoga room that feels like home.

We believe strongly in what Judith Lasater quoted best “Yoga isn’t about touching your toes, it’s about what you learn on the way down.”

    B-1 has two tables for our members and instructors and we would love to see you there. Mindful Minutes is on a mission to bring yoga and mindfulness into the schools everywhere and they are doing BIG things. Support this mission by showing up or donating if it speaks to you.

  • YOGA + HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING (HIIT) (NOT HEATED)

    This month we are doing something a little different! We’ve had requests for one of our fitness type classes, NOT heated and NOT early morning. Therefore we are bringing our Yoga + HIIT class to Thursdays evenings in April. Join Danielle Daughetee from 5:30-6:30 pm for a non-heated all levels Yoga + HIIT workout. This will include a yoga warm-up and cool down. This includes a section of HIIT that includes weights and cardio bursts with modifications to make things harder or easier depending on your level. Come check it out! (Megan K. will be subbing April 4th.)

    NEW CLASS ALERT!

    Saturday April 6, 11:00 am | B-1 Yoga

    Beginning in April, the first Saturday of every month at 11:00 am will be a workshop style class for 60 minutes. Krissy will kick off April by breaking down Sun A’s, including chaturangas.We will also show you how to use props in each workshop. This is for peeps who are brand new to yoga but also for seasoned yogis to explore their practice. Stay tuned for classes with Laci, Marcy, Meghan Smith, and Megan G. to take you all the way through summer. This is no additional charge for our members or just a $15 drop-in.

  • LOVING ALL PARTS: DEVELOPING RADICAL SELF-COMPASSION THROUGH IFS Part 2

    Part 2 of our 2-part workshop series, BUT you did not have to attend the first part to get all you need from what Kiersten is bringing us! This 2nd session will focus on healing and working with the self-critical parts of ourselves. You will be walked through these ideas and processes step by step with Licensed Professional Counselor, Kiersten Wenthold. You will also have time for some Q&A and a handout will be sent home with you. IFS is an evidence-based psychotherapy which helps people heal by accessing and healing their protective and wounded inner parts.

  • NEW MOON + SOLAR ECLIPSE + YIN + CHAKRA + MEDITATION CLASS

    Join Millie and Krissy for a beautifully slow moving, intentional Yin class, with meditation and chakra balancing treats as Krissy brings in the energy of the New Moon and the meaning of the solar eclipse. This new moon in Aries with the Solar Eclipse begins the start of a 6 month kick-off of all its astrological influences. Come hang out in community with us to celebrate this amazing energy.

  • MEDITATION 101 WITH SWIFTY

    Join Susan as she takes you through setting up her own meditation practice, explains how simple or in-depth a meditation practice can be, debunks myths we have around meditation and what stops us from practicing, and guides us through group meditation. Swifty relaxes us in ways that no one can and we can’t wait for you to experience her magic.

  • YOGA + MINI MOSS ART NIGHT WITH PLANTED DUBUQUE

    Start with a non-heated all levels hour long yoga practice at B-1 with Krissy. Then we’ll freshen up and walk down the street to Planted! Planted’s owner, Laura, will demonstrate and guide you on how to design and construct your very own moss art using an assortment of preserved colorful mosses and frames. Preserved mosses require no watering or light, making them the perfect green addition to any space!

    Registration is $75 and includes an hour yoga practice, a glass of wine, and a 12x12 inch framed moss art piece. Sign up through Planted or at the following link. Only 12 spots available.

  • YOGA JAMS LIVE WITH MARCUS DEJESUS

    Our famous Yoga Jams class but with a twist! We have Marcus DeJesus with his guitar back to play some amazing tunes for us while we flow. This is an all-levels, non-heated flow that is a studio favorite. Class fills up fast so be sure to sign up ASAP. This is NO additional charge for our B-1 members thanks to a generous sponsorship from Wicked Dame Wine Bar just around the corner from us.   • NEUROTUNING IS BACK…FINE TUNING YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM COHERENCE

    Saturday April 20, 11:00-12:30 pm | B-1 Yoga

    Everything we experience in the world around us is first perceived through our nervous systems. Your nervous system is what holds the "codes”, aka strategies, of how to respond and react to your external and internal environment. Those strategies have an endless capacity to become more efficient. Dr. Zoe will fine tune your spines in a gentle way just by using a 1 or 2 finger light touch to get energy moving and flowing in a more optimal way. Krissy will be leading you through gentle yoga poses that relax and decompress the nervous system while Dr. Zoe works her magic. The result will be you leaving feeling more centered and nourished.
