We are so excited you decided to check us out. Let us tell you a little bit about our studio.

We are located in the heart of downtown at 185 Main St. surrounded by awesome local businesses and restaurants right outside our doors.

Our studio is home to over 15 different yoga instructors and a variety of yoga classes and styles to appeal to the beginner all the way to the seasoned yogis. Classes run from 5:30 am- 8:00 pm and we are open 7 days a week.

We have full bathrooms and showers for both men and women so you can easily head to work or out on the town straight from our studio. We have mats, towels, blocks, and straps available for rent or purchase so have no fear if you don’t have all your yoga gear.

Our classes range from no heat to hot and the temperatures are explained along with our class descriptions. You will find a welcoming smile the moment you walk through our door, an incredible community of yogis to practice alongside you, and a very cozy yoga room that feels like home.

We believe strongly in what Judith Lasater quoted best “Yoga isn’t about touching your toes, it’s about what you learn on the way down.”

  • IT’S MARCH MADNESS TIME AND YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS…OUR CHALLENGE IS BACK! TIME TO BET ON YOU!

    March Madness is a big deal. It lasts 3 weeks and lots of people bet money on basketball, SO we want to give you your own March Madness challenge for a chance to bet on yourself and win!

    Here’s the deal:

    Anyone who wants to participate puts $5 in the pot (AKA the famous B-1 fish bowl) and signs their name up on the March Madness challenge board (hanging on the wall as of March 1st)

    All you have to do is attend 21 B-1 classes throughout the month of March. We know that can be a challenge BUT we believe in YOU. Plus, the Monday recorded meditations always count too!

    You put a star sticker on the chart for every class you come to. That’s it. Super easy!

    EVERYONE who completes the challenge is entered to win the pot of money. Last year we had 67 people sign up….that was a $335 pot!

    BUT, we are all about the rewards so we will draw 3 names from the list of finishers. 1 will win ALL the money , 1 will win a FREE unlimited month of yoga, and 1 will win a $25 gift card to The Vault Restaurant & Lounge.

    The March Madness challenge runs from March 1-March 31. Sign-up on the board, put your $5 in the fish bowl, and come to classes. YOU CAN DO IT!

  • THURSDAY NIGHT 4 WEEK SERIES: QIGONG

    With Tom | Thursdays in March at 5:30 pm (March 7-March 28)

    Qigong is an ancient Chinese mind-body practice that combines gentle focused movements, deep breathing exercises, and mindfulness techniques. It helps relax your body, calm your mind, and improve your overall well-being and health. It's a great way to focus on your own health and happiness.

    The well-known Tai Chi is a subset of Qigong, to give you an idea! Qigong has medicinal components, where Tai Chi focuses primarily on martial arts. Come dive in and check this new way of moving your body Thursday nights at 5:30 pm.

    Your usual Yin Nidra class that you love but with some extra moon magic and a special musical treat. Jen’s singing bowls are so relaxing and are the best compliment to Tom’s Yin energy. . Just a $10 drop-in to support paying for our special guest.

  • YOGA JAMS LIVE

    With Jacquie Miller & Guitar | Tuesday March 19 at 5:30 pm

    Our famous Yoga Jams class but with a twist! We have Jacquie Miller and her guitar coming to play some amazing tunes for us while we flow. This is NO extra charge for our members as it has been sponsored by an anonymous B-1 Yoga member again this month. How lucky are we? This is an all-levels, non-heated flow that is a studio favorite. Class fills up fast so be sure to sign up ASAP.

  • NEUROTUNE: FINE TUNING YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM COHERENCE

    With Dr. Zoe Zeien & Krissy | Friday March 22 at 5:15 pm (NO B26 that night)

    Everything we experience in the world around us is first perceived through your nervous system. Your nervous system is what holds the "codes”, aka strategies, of how to respond and react to your external and internal environment. Those strategies have an endless capacity to become more efficient. Dr. Zoe will work on fine tuning your spines in a gentle way just by using a one or two finger light touch around the energy centers of your spine to get energy moving and flowing in a more optimal way. Krissy will be leading you through gentle yoga poses that relax and decompress the nervous system while Dr. Zoe works her magic. The result will be you leaving feeling more centered and nourished.

    This is non-heated and limited to 20 people. Cost is $25 a person. Sign up under events!

  • FULL MOON GENTLE FLOW WITH GUIDED MEDITATION

    With Krissy & Swifty | Monday March 25 at 7:20 pm (NO Yin that night)

    This full moon is the Worm moon which represents the end of winter and the regrowth for nature as we enter Spring and the earthworms begin to rise back up from the ground. Krissy will take you through a non-heated gentle flow and give you some journaling prompts to reflect on, and Susan will finish off class with a beautiful guided meditation experience. This is a sneak peak introduction for an upcoming class with Susan coming up in March, called Meditation 101. We are ready to keep bringing more and more meditation knowledge to you as we move through 2024 together.

    This class is no additional charge to our members or is a $15 drop-in for non-B1 members. Sign up under classes!

  • BEER YOGA AT DARKBIRD TAPHOUSE

    Wednesday March 27 at 6:00 pm | With Krissy

    Join Krissy back at Darkbird Taphouse for a fun night out in Peosta! She will lead you through a 1-hour flow that includes fun poses to try with a drink in your hand. Bring a friend or two (or three!) because there are lots of fun partnered or group poses to play around with too! Admission price includes a 1-hour practice PLUS a FREE drink! (Beer, wine, or N/A drinks available.) This takes place on Darkbird's open deck area if there is beautiful weather OR their upstairs private area if the weather is too cold. They have amazing food to stay and enjoy afterwards too, if you like!

    $21 includes yoga and a beverage, sign up under events!

  • LOVING ALL PARTS: DEVELOPING RADICAL SELF-COMPASSION THROUGH IFS

    Saturday March 30 at 3:00-5:00 pm

    This is the first session of a 2-part workshop series…come to one or both sessions! The 1st session will be about the basics of IFS (Internal Family Systems) and will include some practices to access the Self to develop self-love. The 2nd session will focus on healing and working with the self-critical parts of ourselves. You will be walked through these ideas and processes step by step with Licensed Professional Counselor, Kiersten Wenthold. You will also have time for some Q&A and a handout will be sent home with you. IFS is an evidence-based psychotherapy which helps people heal by accessing and healing their protective and wounded inner parts.

    Cost is $25 and sign up under events! The 2nd session will be Saturday April 6th.
